When I'm Not Working
I look for ways to maintain balance throughout my day and am grateful for that privilege. On most days, I make time for the activities that ground me and bring me closer to myself and to those who are dear to me. I feel most connected when I am in nature on my own, with my partner and our young son, or with friends. I have yet to learn how to hike without stopping to forage along the way, and I continue to expand my knowledge of wild foods and plants, albeit at a very slow pace. I love trail running and have even grown to enjoy ultramarathons, though preferably in the company of others. When I am not on the trails, there is a good chance you'll find me in my hammock, one of my favourite places to rest, read, and recharge. These interests and values remind me of the importance of balance, connection, curiosity, and presence. They also shape the way I connect with my clients, helping to foster authentic relationships and meaningful moments of connection with both self and others.
